OUR PRODUCTS

No animal products are used to make Di Romeo shoes and accessories. Our line for both men and women is made 100% from materials that substitute leather without compromising exclusive Italian style, comfort or health.

The tomaie (upper parts) and linings are made prevalently of microfibre, which allows the foot to breathe plus various other materials, some similar to suede or compact and shiny like leather

In our summer line we use both linen and recycled linen, especially in our EcoAlternative line.

Inner soles are frequently made using coconut straw or cork. The outer soles are prevalently rubber, India rubber or recycled rubber.

Our glues are water-based and contain no animal derivatives. Glues are reduced to a minimum and, whenever possible, are substituted by stitching. Production is closely monitored so that even assembly parts, which only a technician can recognize, do not contain pieces of animal origin.

Dermatitis and skin allergies are usually caused by substances used for tanning leather. Continuing studies of raw materials reduce pollution to a minimum and benefit our customers with a product that is allergy and bacteria-free.
